You may take a pram, pushchair or mobility walker with you on the bus, Letbanen or Midtjyske Jernbaner trains free of charge, provided there is space, and provided it does not interfere with boarding/disembarkation.
You take prams etc. with you at your own risk. The wheels of the pram/pushchair must be locked, and it is a good idea to secure the pram with the strap available for this purpose on the bus/Letbanen. The child can remain in the pram during the journey, provided it is strapped in. In this situation, you are required to remain with the pram for safety reasons.
Only prams, pushchairs and mobility walkers used for personal transport may be taken on buses and trains. It is not permitted to have more children in the pram than it is designed to carry.
There is usually space for max. two prams or one wheelchair on a bus. The driver can refuse to take a pram, pushchair or mobility walker if space on the bus is limited. The driver’s decision is final.
If you want to take a pram, pushchair or mobility walker with you, you must be able to lift it onto the bus yourself. The driver is unable to provide assistance.
On Letbanen, prams, pushchairs and mobility walkers must be parked in the designated flex areas.
If relevant, refer to the section on wheelchairs
