When you purchase travel tickets at webshop.midttrafik.dk, you provide us with the information we need to be able to administer you as a customer. In addition, we register your IP address when you make a purchase. |
| What type of information about you is processed? |
In connection with your use of the online store, Midttrafik collects and processes information relating to your name, identification details in the form of, for example, the first or the last four digits of your payment card, driving licence, asylum seeker in Denmark, Rejsekort, health card or passport, email address, IP address, payment information, location data and travel history by registering your stated departure stop and destination stop as well as the expected departure time and arrival time. |
| What do we use the information for? |
The collected information is processed for the purpose of the exercise of the official authority vested in Midttrafik as the provider of transport services in connection with the sale of travel tickets, and so that Midttrafik can provide the best possible service in its capacity as a transport company, issue receipts, identify customers in connection with support cases and collect payment. Transactions are monitored to detect and prevent errors and abuse. The information is also collected to comply with Midttrafik’s legal obligations. |
| What is the legal basis? |
The processing of the information and data is covered by the General Data Protection Regulation, including Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(e) of the General Data Protection Regulation, and Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation. |

Recipients of the information can include other public authorities, for example the police when reporting fraud etc., as well as Midttrafik’s chosen payment solution. |

We store your information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above and to comply with our duty to journalise information and bookkeeping. |
